The Web Items Window

Definition

The Web Items window is a component of the BEx Web Application Designer

Use

The Web Items window offers a pool of Web items that you can use to create your Web application.

A Web item is the display type (for example, tables, maps, charts) used to display data from a data provider.

Structure

The Web Items window is made up of two areas:
  •  In the top part of the window, divided onto two tabstrips, are the selection option categories for Web items.
--        The Standard tab page contains a selection of master Web items.
--        The Library tab page contains a list of Web items that are saved in
                 the library.
For more information, see Working with the Library for Web Items.

  •  Underneath the selection area is the help area containing explanatory text for the Web items that you have selected from the top part of the screen.
